Venice Theatre - Venice, Italy has the theatre and shows that will most certainly please you and in very ornate structures which will make you feel part of history. The famous Gran Teatro La Fenice reopened in 2003 after a dreadful fire some years previously. This fantastic and historic theatre has a wide and extensive programme with the Opera season running from December to May, while Jazz Concerts and the Festival of Contemporary Music take place in September.

Obviously for major productions, tickets are sold out well in advance but there can be last minute Tickets Available – telephone +39 041 24 24. As the Teatro La Fenice is heavily supported by Venetians, they have car parking arrangements with the Tronchetto Park dell’isola Nuova for reduced rate parking – you need to get a voucher from the teatro on the evening of the performance.

From October to May you can see world class shows at the Carlo Goldoni theatre. The other Theatres in Venice Italy are Malibran (they also have a car parking concession ith Garage San Marco Spa but this has to be reserved the day before the performance). Palafenice and Teatro dei Frari. These offer different shows throughout the year. Be sure to plan ahead and check to see which shows are playing when you will be in the area. Do book tickets in advance, the shows do tend to sell out very quickly so find out what’s on and get tickets for at least one show – it will be a most memorable evening.
